Who this policy covers
Sleep Guidebook is an affiliate product information website. This policy covers our Yu Sleep guide and the related information pages at sleepguidebook.com/yusleep/. It does not govern external sellers, marketplaces or other services you visit from our links.
For privacy questions or requests, contact the Sleep Guidebook publisher at [email protected].
Information involved in using these pages
- Messages you send: if you email us, your email address, the contents of your message and any details you choose to include are processed to handle that correspondence.
- Technical requests: delivering and protecting a website involves processing network and request information. Hosting and security providers may process information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser details and request times.
- Visit and performance statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics provides information about website visits and page performance.
- Visit and product-link attribution: the three Yu Sleep guide entry pages use MaxConv through track.sleepguidebook.com to measure visits, product-link clicks and affiliate referrals. This service may process network and request information, IP addresses, browser and device information (including browser-provided client hints), referring pages, and campaign or referral identifiers. Cookies or browser storage may be used to match a visit with a product-link click.
- Optional Google Ads measurement: a Google Ads base tag is prepared for the guide pages but is disabled in the current default configuration. It runs only if the publisher configures a valid Google Ads ID. When enabled, Google may process page visits, network and request information, IP addresses, browser or device information, and advertising or referral identifiers for advertising measurement and attribution.
The related legal and website information pages do not load MaxConv or Google Ads tracking tags. These guide pages have no registration, contact form, shopping cart or payment fields. Please do not email payment-card details, passwords, identity documents or sensitive health information.
How information is used
Information is used to deliver and secure the site, understand page performance, measure guide visits and product-link clicks, attribute affiliate referrals, measure advertising visits when the optional Google Ads tag is enabled, respond to questions, handle correction and privacy requests, and address misuse or legal obligations. A recorded visit or product-link click does not by itself establish that a purchase occurred. We do not use the information collected through these pages to build health profiles. Enabling the Google Ads base tag does not itself configure product-link clicks or purchases as conversion events.
Service providers and external links
Website hosting, network security, performance measurement, affiliate attribution and email services may process information to provide those functions. The site uses Cloudflare. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its processing practices. MaxConv provides visit and product-link tracking through our track.sleepguidebook.com subdomain. If the optional Google Ads tag is enabled, Google also processes advertising measurement data; see Google’s privacy policy.
Offer links pass through track.sleepguidebook.com/click before taking you to the seller. This allows the click to be associated with a visit or referral. If you continue to an external seller or marketplace, that service receives your visit and handles its own cookies, attribution, orders and privacy practices. Read that service’s privacy notice before giving it information.
We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to meet a legal obligation or protect the site and its users.
Cookies and analytics
The MaxConv tracking used on the three guide entry pages may use cookies or browser storage to match visits, product-link clicks and affiliate referrals. We do not state fixed cookie names or lifetimes here because those depend on the tracking service and its configuration.
The optional Google Ads tag is inactive while its configured ID is a placeholder. If the publisher configures a valid ID, the base tag may use cookies or similar technologies for advertising measurement and attribution. This optional tag is not described as cookie-free.
According to Cloudflare, its Web Analytics service does not use cookies, local storage or fingerprinting to track individual visitors. This statement is specific to that analytics service; it does not describe MaxConv tracking, an enabled Google Ads tag, or Cloudflare security features, which may use cookies when active.
See our Cookie Policy for the distinction between these services and cookies used by an external seller. Images and fonts used by these guide pages are served from this website.
Retention and security
We keep correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to address the inquiry and related operational or legal requirements. Technical records handled by service providers are subject to their service settings and retention practices. Retention therefore depends on the type and purpose of the record.
The published site uses HTTPS. No method of online transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure. Contact us if you believe information you sent to us needs correction or removal.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can browse these pages without creating an account, decide whether to follow external links and manage site data through your browser. These pages do not change their behavior in response to a browser Do Not Track signal.
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or to appeal a decision about a privacy request. Send your request to [email protected], describe what you want us to address and identify the email address used to contact us. We may need to verify that a request relates to you; do not send sensitive identity documents unless a specific, necessary verification method has been agreed.
If a request concerns an order, payment or account held by an external seller, contact that seller directly because we do not operate its systems.
Children
Our guides are intended for adult readers, not children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.
Changes and contact
We will revise this policy when our practices change and update the date shown on this page. The version that applies to new data collection will describe the practices in use at that time.
